TOSNA papers? And differences between 1,2, and 3

I'm trying to find published academic papers and/or white papers on TOSNA. I'm looking for low level papers, and not just somebody saying "It's a way to feed your yeast." :-)

And I'm trying to find out what the differences are between versions 1,2, and 3.
